Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding takes place this Saturday 19th May at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

There are some things that we know – like who the Royal Wedding bridesmaids and pageboys will be, which royal wedding rules the couple will have to adhere to and what wedding food will be served at the party afterwards.

What we don’t know is anything about what Meghan Markle’s will look like on the day. And this might just be the thing we’re most desperate to know. People have made predictions about the dress, but that’s not the only thing people are intrigued about. People want to know whether she’ll opt for a natural or, in a nod to her profession, Hollywood glamour look.

Whilst we have to wait three days until we get to see what she decided on, we asked two of Meghan’s make-up artists to predict the future Duchess of Sussex’s wedding day make-up look and how

Vincent Oquendo

Vincent Oquendo has worked with Meghan on the red carpet and he predicts ‘a modern version of the classic Billie Holiday-esque’.

‘When I see Meghan I always get a classic jazz era starlet vibe, so I would take that inspiration. To achieve this, I would make it all about her glowing radiant skin, keeping the look fresh and natural playing up her eyes. To do that, I would start with Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation and then I would go for a classic and ultra feminine winged eyeliner, to open them up even more and to make them the focus of the look. I would for a few of my go-to products like the Laura Mercier Crème Eye Liner in Black, with a NARS Mascara and Shiseido Eye Lash Curlers – which are amazing! I would also use a rosy cream blush, such as the Dolce & Gabbana Bed of Roses blush, on the cheeks and on her eyelids. Then set with a bronzer, like a Shiseido Cushion Bronzer, to warm up her complexion. Finally, I would finish the look off with a creamy rosy beige lipstick. I love Meghan with a nude lip which off sets dramatic eyes.’

Lydia Sellers, Celebrity Make-Up Artist and ICONIC London Ambassador

Lydia Sellers, who did Meghan’s make-up every day on the set of Suits, thinks Meghan will go for the ‘effortless chic’ option.

‘It’s no secret that Meghan Markle has gorgeous glowing skin, which start with a flawless complexion. I would use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 6.25, with a drop or two of 5.5 for a healthy glow, with some drops of ICONIC London Illuminator to ensure naturally glowing skin that defines her gorgeous bone structure. Very few faces require only one shade, so I like to mix more than one color to match the complexity and depth of the skin. Meghan has the most beautiful brown eyes.  I think enhancing them with complimenting earthy tones (as she does) is the way to go. I would use products with a bronze tint to them to make the eyes really pop. Meghan’s go-to palette is ICONIC London Day to Slay Eyeshadow Palette. A great mascara is key for lots of volume in the lash! I really love this one by ICONIC London in Black. I layer it on a few times because she really loves a voluminous look! Another important product I use when working with Meghan is MAC’s Kohl Eyeliner in Teddy. I use it on her inner waterline for a bronzy finish, and it really frames her eyes. She is known for her perfect rosy nude lips. This is a classic, chic look which finishes her signature beauty style. I love using a tinted balm like FRESH Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Petal or Rose with a pop of gloss over for added shine.’

So there we have it. Will they right?

We’ll have to wait until Saturday to find out.
