Meghan Markle’s ex husband has officially moved on

Here’s why everyone’s talking about it…

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot earlier this year in a touching and star-studded ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Now it seems that the Duchess of Sussex’s ex husband, Trevor Engelson, is following suit, tying the knot himself just this week.

The 41-year-old TV producer announced his engagement to his nutritionist girlfriend, Tracey Kurland, back in June, reportedly proposing just two weeks after the royal wedding.

Were Meghan and Harry in attendance? Well, no.

While the royal wedding was attended by a host of celebrity royal wedding guests, from A-list actors to royal family members, the guests that caused the most stir were Prince Harry’s ex girlfriends, with both Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy in attendance.

Unlike her groom however, Meghan did not invite her ex husband, Trevor Engelson to the big day, but given the fact that he was reportedly producing a project about her at one point, it’s hardly surprising.

That’s right. It was announced last year that Meghan Markle’s ex husband was producing a project that sounded eerily similar to real life – a divorce comedy about a British prince.

TV producer Trevor Engelson — who divorced Meghan in August 2011 after almost 2 years of marriage — is developing a comedy about a married couple that breaks up, resulting in the woman starting to date a British prince, Deadline reported at the time.

The script reportedly got the green light and Engelson went into business with some high profile producers to develop a pilot episode for Fox, but Engelson put the project on hold last month, after Meghan reportedly asked him not to move forward with the show.

While it doesn’t look like there are any hard feelings, we’re not surprised that she wasn’t there when he said ‘I Do.’
