Donald Trump has been making controversial decisions left, right and centre, and no one is remotely surprised.
But who often bears the brunt of it? First Lady Melania Trump and his daughter and political advisor, Ivanka Trump, who repeatedly support the president’s policies when quite frankly, they really should be questioning them.
But how do the two women get along? There has long been speculation of a ‘complicated relationship’ between them, but according to Donald’s ex wife and Ivanka’s mother, Ivana, the two women get along ‘fine’.
In a profile of Ivanka for The Atlantic, her mother weighed in, explaining how there was no bad blood between step-daughter and step-mother Ivanka and Melania, for the simple reason that the current FLOTUS had nothing to do with Donald and Ivana’s split.
‘She likes her fine, because she didn’t cause me to break up the marriage like the other one — I don’t even want to pronounce her name,’ Ivana explained, referring to Marla Maples, Donald’s second wife and Tiffany Trump’s mother, who Donald had an affair with whilst married to Ivana.
A spokesperson for Melania Trump, Stephanie Grisham, also weighed in on Melania and Ivanka’s relationship, telling The Atlantic that the two women ‘always shared a close relationship and still do today.’
Well, that’s that.
